Incorporate Montessori into your home, month by month!

  • Monthly guide tailored to your child’s age and development

  • Detailed materials, activities, and instructions

  • From birth through 23 months

Are you hoping to incorporate Montessori at home but aren’t sure where to start?

Would you like suggested Montessori activities for your child that fit into any budget?

Welcome to The Montessori Guide! We’re Bridget and Theresa, both stay-at-home moms, Montessori bloggers, and nerds about all things toddler. Calling home in Washington, we met and became dear friends through our blogs and quickly realized how much we had in common, both raising our children using the Montessori method and embracing respectful parenting philosophy. One of our favorite aspects of our friendship has been the opportunity to bounce parenting and learning ideas off each other, and through these discussions, The Montessori Guide was born, a resource for other parents to provide educational invitations for their young children at home. We know a parent’s to-do list is never complete, so let us help by finding, creating, and pulling together themed learning materials delivered right to your inbox for your baby and you to discover together.

The Montessori Guide is a month-by-month guide, with each month’s guide including six suggestions for Montessori materials and activities based on your child’s age (0 to 24 months). All of the monthly guide’s suggested activities are aimed at encouraging your child’s fine motor, gross motor, language, and practical life skills. Each of the six activities includes a link to buy or instructions to DIY, a description of how your child will benefit developmentally, and a detailed explanation of how to present the activity to your child. We intentionally picked beautiful, purposeful, and hopefully challenging activities to ensure they will be enjoyed for future months to come.

With your first purchase of a guide or package, you will also receive a free Montessori Basics Guide which goes over a few of the key Montessori principles and how to apply them at home with your baby or toddler!

Try one month at a time, or purchase a package for a discounted price! Some parents find it helpful to look at guides earlier/later than their child’s current age to get additional ideas and to plan ahead! Each guide or set of guides will be delivered to your inbox the same day you purchase. Check out our FAQ and Reviews Page for more questions and answers, as well as to read some parent reviews!
